Co-Curricular Activities

Russian Flagship co-curricular activities provide important opportunities for students to practice using Russian outside of courses and tutoring.

Russian Flagship students are encouraged to participate as many co-curricular activities as possible. These events offer valuable opportunities for students to connect with peers beyond their immediate cohort, engage with scholars and other Russian-speaking visitors to campus and learn about their research and professional work. They also help students deepen their cultural knowledge and build confidence using Russian.

Throughout the year, students regularly take part in social gatherings, guest lectures delivered in Russian by visiting scholars, film screenings, and a wide range of other co-curricular activities both on campus and in the community.
